The Backstory

USOKT, as it came to be known, started its "modern" life in September of 2020 with the 1st Annual Speed51 Open, paying R$5,151 to win. Before Millbridge, however, OWDRS, the Open Wheel Dirt Racing Series, was the premier outlaw kart series on ROBLOX. Holding the first ever King of the Wing and the Appalachian Indoor Showdown to name a few, OWDRS was the first rendition of an outlaw kart event server. OWDRS became USOKT in 2021 during the 1st Annual West Coast Nationals, which quickly became a crown jewel event and the most attended event, on average, in USOKT.

In 2022 at the Outlaw Kart Nationals, USOKT made the jump into the mainstream, switching to mesh-bodied karts. Now, it was easy as whipping up a design in any software, sending it in, and being ready to go. During the next event, the Second Annual Viking Clash, USOKT held its first race with a second division, the sportsman division. The karts had been modeled by Subnormalboat75 and Friarobby, being put to the test on the preliminary night at the Lake Ontario Coliseum.

The Non-wing showdown

In 2021, USOKT held its first and only Non-Wing specific event. At 5 Star Speedway, the Inaugural Non-Wing Showdown took place. The race, although marred by low attendance, went off without issues, and proved to be a success, with bandit3223 picking up the championship. However, due to the different style of racing, and, to be blunt, the ugliness of the karts, it didn't come back for 2022. With the switch to mesh being made for late 2022 and 2023, it is unlikely that this event will ever return..... for now.
